My dog Cookie was given to me by my Uncle Gerard.
He found Cookie on the street.
He asked us if we wanted one, and my parents said yes. Cookie wasn't shy, and we gave him lots of love. I put a dog shock collar on him to correct him. We were best friends, until I got a turtle. My parents told me I could keep her too. I stopped taking care of Cookie. I named the turtle Daisy. I grew more and more attached to Daisy and played with her as much as I could. One day while I was feeding Daisy, she bit my finger. My mother did everything she could to let go of my finger. I wasn't allowed to keep her anymore. So I took her outside and let her go. I felt sad. But then I suddenly remembered my dog that I had neglected. He felt lonely and sad. So please, never neglect your pet when you get another one. Maybe you're missing something special your dog can do. I was lucky, Cookie still loves me
