The first walk with your dog

The first walk with your dog

The dogs

You should start taking your puppy out at 8 weeks. Walks allow him to have new experiences. There are three reasons to start taking your puppy for walks as early and as often as possible. First, it is through walks that your puppy grows into a stable and balanced adult. The experiences your puppy has between 8 and 12 weeks will be recorded forever. This is why you should offer your puppy positive experiences during this period. Second, the puppy learns to be clean by walking. When you take your puppy out regularly, you give him more opportunities to relieve himself outside. In order for the puppy to learn never to relieve himself in the house, you should reward him every time he has the good habit. Finally, walking strengthens the emotional bond with your puppy. When you walk your dog, you share beautiful moments with him, and thus the attachment between you develops. Walks also help you teach your dog to obey you. Also note that it is advisable to use a dog training collar during the first walks to better control your dog.
